The Math Den is designed to support you in earning an “A” in your current math course. We have done the research and know that earning an “A” in your math class means you will be that much closer to realizing your goals of earning a STEM degree.

Earning an “A” in your first semester math course here at UNM feels pretty good and will only help you build skills and confidence in the STEM fields.

All Freshmen STEM Project (FSP) participants are expected to attend math den hours each week. Check out the schedule and location below and attend as often as you wish. We are building a community of math learners, all levels of math are encouraged and supported at the FSP Math Den. Remember it is not about what class you are in or how much you already know, it is about how much you can learn this semester!

Bring your course materials, calculator etc. and be prepared to get your homework and math test review’s done! Computers are also available to do online work. There will be someone in the Den to help you or that you may be able to help, either way the goal of an “A” in math this semester is the focus.

See you at the Math Den!
